You pick the trip it belongs to and see every field before it is added. A blank asks you a question; a wrong value would not.

Send the confirmation to trips@manr.ai from the address you signed in with. Our mail handler locks it to your account as it arrives; we store it sealed and cannot open it.

Open Booking emails, choose the trip, and read what it found. Nothing joins your trip until you say so.
Forwarding needs sync switched on, because the mailbox belongs to your account — and it only accepts mail from the address you signed in with, once you have sent one email to confirm that address is yours. A booking email is deleted from our server once it has been added, or after 10 days; your own mailbox stays the archive.

Do I need an account?
No. A trip lives in your browser, with no email, no password and nothing to sign up for. An account with an email and password is only for sync across your devices, and for forwarding booking emails to trips@manr.ai.
Where are my trips stored, and who can read them?
Without sync, only in the browser you are using. With sync on, a trip is encrypted in your browser before it leaves, and Trips by Manr.ai holds it without being able to open it: the key is your password, and it never reaches the server. What does it check in my itinerary?
It reads the whole trip, not one booking at a time. It finds a night with nowhere to sleep, two stays booked for the same night, a stay outside the trip’s dates, two places in a row with no journey booked between them, and a connection shorter than 90 minutes between flights or 30 minutes between journeys over land or sea. It also warns when a passport has less than 6 months left once the trip ends. Those margins are rules of thumb, not any airline’s or country’s rule.
Do I have to type my bookings in?
No. Drop in a booking PDF, paste the confirmation email, or forward it to trips@manr.ai from the address you signed in with, which needs sync switched on. Either way it fills the form for you, and nothing joins your trip until you have seen the fields and added it.
Does it work without an internet connection?

Can I share a trip with the people I am travelling with?
Yes. A link shows them the plan as it was when the link was made; it does not update, and passport details, booking links and costs are left out of it. They can take their own copy and edit it without touching yours. Anyone who has the link can open it, so links expire and can be revoked.
Can it split the costs between us?
Yes. It tracks who paid for what, including in different currencies, and works out who owes whom.
Do I have to book through it?
No. Book with any airline, hotel, train or agent. Nothing is sold through the app.
